Friends of Nepalese/Ghurkha Vets/Okey Cokey Club include:

  • SSAFA (Soldier, Sailors, Airforce Association) - Gerry Armstrong & Gyan Tamang
    Support veterans and their families who attend the Okey Cokey Club and the project with housing, benefit and financial advice and hands on help. Gyan interprets for us and supports with activities and events. Gerry provides raffle prizes and last year secured £3,000 from SSAFA to help fund Okey Cokey Club activities and social events.
  • Blue Bird Care – Greenwich – Anoop Sekhon – Managing Director
    Okey Cokey Club ‘Men in Sheds’ project awarded first ever Bluebird Care Greenwich Community Grant. Blue Bird Care donated £250 to fund Vietnamese Cooking classes and shopping trips to buy the ingredients. Bluebird Care offer continued support to the project.
  • YMCA Woolwich Dockyard
    The Okey Cokey Club and Men in Sheds is housed within the YMCA at Woolwich Dockyard. On-going support and partnership working.
  • Tesco, Woolwich
    Community Champion - donates food towards social events for Okey Cokey Club and Woolwich Shed.
  • Tesco, Eltham Hill
    Donates food towards social events for Okey Cokey Club, Eltham Shed socials and fundraising events. Donates raffle prizes.
  • Sainsburys Eltham – Human Resources
    Donates food towards social events for Okey Cokey Club, Eltham Shed socials and fundraising events. Donates raffle prizes.
  • Co-Op Eltham –
    Donates food towards social events for Okey Cokey Club, Eltham Shed socials and fundraising events. Donates raffle prizes.
  • Womens Institute
    Donates wool for Club and our partnership working with Abbeywood Community Sound, promotes Men in Sheds events. Has fund raised .
